The Rural Mobile Health Clinic is returning to #Huron at Chesnut High on THURSDAY, APRIL 4TH from 2:00 to 7:00 pm.

There will also be food distribution.

In 2009, the California State Assembly established School Bus Drivers’ Day, a well-deserved tribute to the dedicated men and women who ensure children safely arrive at school daily. These unsung heroes of the road remain patient, helpful, and upbeat throughout their service. As School Bus Driver Appreciation Day approaches on April 23rd, let's rev up the excitement and honor their invaluable contributions. Originating in sunny California, this special day gained official recognition in 2009, highlighting the significance of these drivers' unwavering dedication.

The Transportation Department will honor CHUSD Bus Drivers by celebrating for the entire week of April 22nd to April 26th, 2024. If you'd like to participate and show appreciation, we encourage you to dress up on the dress-up days. Let's unite as a community to show our gratitude and support for our dedicated bus drivers!

Tuesday, April 23rd is #SchoolBusDriverAppreciationDay and we are celebrating all week! We would love for our CHUSD community of staff and students to join us in the dress-up days planned.

As you may know, our office holds a weekly para educator exam for anyone who wants to take it. The purpose of this exam is to help employees/potential employees meet the state requirement for becoming a paraeducator or intervention assistant. The exam is broken into three parts: Ability to Assist, Reading/Writing, and Math. Many people who take the exam struggle with passing the math portion. To help with this, we  hold tutoring sessions for the math portion of the exam.
 
The schedule for our April run is below.

Tutoring Session #1: Thursday, April 25th 3:30 PM - 5:30 PM
Tutoring Session #2: Saturday, April 27th 8:00 AM - 10:00 AM
Para Exam: Saturday , April 27th 10:30 AM - 1:30 PM

If you or anyone you know would like to attend tutoring and/or the Saturday exam, please contact us at 559-935-7504. While we encourage everyone to attend all tutoring sessions, you may sign up for sessions or exam dates separately. Location for the tutoring & exam will be the CHUSD Human Resources Department @ 485 N. 5th St. Coalinga, CA.
